Why Goat Milk?
This is something we are so passionate about. A few reasons:
1. Goat’s milk reduces skin inflammation due to its fat molecule content. The cream present in Goat’s Milk is a moisturizer, soothing dry and damaged skin, and possesses an anti-inflammatory effect.
2. Goat’s Milk is packed full of essential nutrients and vitamins like vitamin D, C, B1, B6, B12, and E, that feed the skin and are absorbed into the body.
3. Most Water-based soaps on mainstream supermarket shelves use harsh chemical acids to break down dead skin cells. Alpha hydroxy acids found in Goat’s Milk, work with your skin to naturally exfoliate dead skin leaving you soft and moisturized.
Frequently Asked Questions
Products
Are your products cruelty-free?
At Beehive Naturals, we do NOT test on animals. When we purchase ingredients from outside vendors, we do the best we can to purchase organic ingredients.
Is there an expiration date on the skincare products?
Our products are best used within the first 12 months of opening, however they do not have an exact expiration date on them. We recommend using them within the first year of purchase. You’ll use it up before expiration, trust us!!
I have allergies, what products are safe for me?
Choosing the right natural skin care product can feel overwhelming when you know you’re allergic to things. We recommend looking at the ingredients section under each product so you can make the best decision for yourself and your body.
Will my products melt?
For most products, the short answer is no. However, if left in a hot car, our lip balm will melt. Once cooled it will go back to its normal consistency. It is safe to keep in your pocket or purse.
How long will my bar of soap last?
With normal use on average each bar of soap will last two-three weeks. However, don’t let this deter you! While mainstream soaps might last longer, they also contain harsh chemicals that can wear down your skin, drying it out. Our soaps are all natural, which are wonderful moisturizing agents for your skin. Also, letting your soap dry out after each use will expand the lifetime of your soap as well. However, if you are saving your bar of soap to use later, it will not expire. Be sure to store in a closed container to keep the scent fresh.
Frequently Asked Questions
Shampoo & Hair
What is a natural shampoo bar?
An eco-friendly, natural way of washing your hair. Shampoo bars have been used for years, starting back in the 1940’s. We wanted to continue the tradition and have them available for you too! Packed full of hair nourishing ingredients, these bars are perfect and gentle for all hair types. Even safe for color-treated hair and babies.
Will my hair need to adjust to a natural shampoo bar? Any tips?
All hair types are unique to each individual, so we cannot give you an exact answer. From personal and customer feedback, we’ve been told that there’s not an adjustment period. We do recommend keeping your bar dry after use so it can be used as long as possible.
